i have not read the whole book it seem to be completed for my assignment
Bought this a long time ago for a mechanical design engineering course and still use it as a reference for engineering work.
Very informative and well written textbook. The only thing I do not like about this book is there is not an index.
I think this is a very good book for a first course in Fire Dynamics for students with just basic thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer. Used it for junior level Chemical Engineers and it went very.
I had to read many a film theory and criticism book throughout grad school and this was the most pleasurable to read - bar none. A lot of authors write with such drudgery that their books become a chore to read, but not so with Giannetti. His writing style is remarkably easy to read and his information is easily quotable and understandable. I had this book next to me with each paper I needed to write. Whether you make films or simply want to learn more about the explanations of concepts like mise-en-scene, this book is a staple you will continue to go back to for reference.
What i liked most about this book, was that it includes points of view from both liberal and conservative ethicists. So that one can take into account both points kf view before coming to a conclusion. This book was a big help in my medical ethics class.
As a music teacher at a seminary, I have been using Ottman's Rudiments of Music for years, and I have been looking for something more current. I still like Ottman's book, but it has become had to find. I have reviewed several books over the past three years and this one looks to be the most promising. It is a good music fundamentals book covering all the basic music terms and foundations.
I am using this book for a Biomedical Ethics undergraduate class. So far the articles have been useful to our discussion. I do not like that the print is thin on the paper. That might just be a personal preference though because I have to wear bifocals to read.

This was optional for my Biology class, but I wish I would’ve ordered it sooner. This thing is absolutely amazing. The cover was torn where the pages go into a binder, but other than that, it was in great condition

Love this book, bought for a biology course addition. However, book came torn and seemingly used. Also was loose leaf so had to put in a binder of my own.
I need this text book for school. I can't tell you much about the content and ease of reading, but it is what I needed. Just as an FYI, you will need a 3-4 inch binder for it. I squeezed it into a 3 inch Avery D ring binder, but really could have used a 4 inch binder. Another helpful hint is to purchase binder tabs to mark where each chapter is (the 31 binder tabs worked great - there were enough to mark the appendix, glossary and index too).
